Friday Facts on a Saturday 5/14/11

So sorry for the delay, but Od offered up a date night and I wasn't about to pass that up! We grabbed a bite to eat and saw a movie - Thor. Yawn. I will say that Natalie Portman was good, but isn't she always? Advizor, I think of you now whenever I see her.

What made my "hot date" hot was how it started. Both of our kids were off to visit friends for the evening. I dropped the girl off and on my way home it occurred to me that the house was ours for the night. In the front door for mere seconds I called out to Od and began stripping off.

"Meet me in the bedroom!"

I grabbed my Lelo and started the pre-game warm up, so to speak. When he entered the bedroom he realized this was no ordinary "snuggle" and crawled under the covers with me to help out. He latched onto Tradition while I pleasured myself. I drew it out as long as I could and danced along the edge of orgasm for a few minutes until I tumbled over and rode it out loudly, knowing how much he loves to hear me. (my favorite thing about having the house to ourselves. well, that and not having to get dressed to use the bathroom afterwards.) I recuperated and enjoyed the afterglow for a few minutes while Od finished up with Tradition. Then finally we got to try out the Liberator ramp. Od suggested I bend over the edge of the bed - great idea - but my legs were still a little shaky, so we made use of the ramp's support. It gives a different angle than I'm used to, but at this point it wasn't about me. I gladly flopped onto it and let him have his way with me while I gave back as much as I could in my sated stupor. It was a long sex-free week that I was glad to see come to an end. The last time for us was a nooner last Saturday while still in DC, which I'll tell you about later on.

How 'bout those Friday Facts now, huh?  ;)  I was an independent kid with a good imagination, sometimes weird and often quite precocious, too. This week's facts are all devoted to little Freya, who BTW, resembled this little girl in a remarkable way. I loved my childhood, and remember it fondly. I had a habit of making my own fun and enjoying life to the fullest. It could be said that I've not changed much!

Did you know.......

  • that I used to dip my sandwich crust in my Koolaid? For some reason I though this was a good idea.
  • my favorite flavor of Koolaid was Sunshine? Not quite Orange in flavor or color. Anyone else remember that flavor?
  • I had a time when I was 9 or 10 when I refused to wear pink? I was mad at my sister who wore a lot of pink at the time and I wanted to be anything but like her. I wouldn't admit this though. I said it was because I was being a tomboy.
  • that I loved sitting in the rain? Right on top of the picnic table under an umbrella listening to the raindrops pitter patter.
  • my grandma once asked me if her pants made her look fat? I said "No. You're fat makes you look fat." I was not my grandma's favorite.
  • that I had a major crush on Rick Springfield? Me and my friend Shelly were card carrying members of his fan club. Swear to God.
  • even thinking about picking green beans makes me itch? I spent more muggy summer evenings picking beans in my other granny's garden than any little girl should have to. She still grows those damn things and I love to eat them, but I now tell her I don't want to come pick any unless she can get them to grow into the jars. Those vines are a bitch. If you've picked beans, then you know just what I'm talking about.
  • that I had two best friends growing up,both named Jenny? One lived down a block to the right, the other lived up a block to the left. They were referred to as Jenny Up The Block and Jenny Down The Block for obvious reasons.
  • I used to run around topless? Okay - this may not be too surprising! I remember still doing this around age 6 , mostly in the summer after dark when it was almost bedtime and me and my sister were still running around outside. You know....getting in one more game of tag.
  • that I got a brand new 10-speed bike in 4th grade? The first new bike I ever had. My sister took it without permission  so I bought a bike lock. She snuck the combination from my room and took it again. I got so mad at her I hit her with the bike lock across her back. I left welts. I thought my mother was going to kill me. I can't remember what my punishment was - but my sister never stole my bike again.
  • the kids in my neighborhood used to play Ghost in the Graveyard in an actual graveyard? Yep. It was right behind where I lived and had an old wrought iron fence. Pretty cool.
  • that one of my favorite things to play was Library? I had a date stamper, an ink pad, and hand cut cards to fill out and slide into the books. Sometimes I just stamped right in the books. My mom never cared. (I still have an affinity for office supplies. They just make me happy.)
  • I was a walker to school every day? I never rode a school bus until 9th grade unless it was for a field trip or an away game.
  • that I took piano lessons? But to this day I cannot play one single thing on the piano. I'm not musically inclined at all, apparently.
  • my mother taught me the value of laughter? From the time I was very little I can recall laughing with her about silly things. To this day we share our funnies. Except the slipped up nip pic. But I may even tell her that one some day.
  • that people used to mistake me for a boy? I had really short hair from age 5-8.
  • I had curly hair as a baby, it straightened out around age 3, then got curly again when I was 14? Very weird, I know.
I'm sure there's more I could recall but this has taken up enough time. I'm calling it a night, but I'll be back tomorrow to share my naughty tales from my road trip.

Goodnight kisses to y'all. Sleep well.

Friday Facts postponed

Since Blogger went tits up yesterday I was all frustrated and forgot about getting my Friday Facts ready! And since I've got a hot date tonight, sorry folks, but it's gonna be another day. So tune in tomorrow and I'll throw in a bonus. I'll let you know how Od and I occupied our spare time while on our trip. ;)

Have a good weekend!

TMI Tuesday 5/10/11

TMI Tuesday

This weeks TMI is based on the 7 Contrary Virtues, each one stands in direct opposition to one of the 7 deadly sins, which were addressed in last week’s TMI Tuesday.

1. CHASTITY - Not just moral wholesomeness but treating sexuality with due reverence and respect. It’s too late for you horny people to be virgins, and I know you can’t practice chastity. So…if you had to cut back on one sex act, for 90 days, what would that be? BTW…How old were you when you lost your virginity?
First of all, ahem, who says I can't practice chastity? As a matter of fact I do.  ;)  But, knowing myself the way that I do, I know that nothing makes me want something more than being denied of it. I'm a brat in that way. Can't help it. And I love variety in all things, so I wouldn't want to cut out any options. I want it all. I'm a brat that way, too. However - in the spirit of playing along I would give up the 69 position. Not the individual acts involved - just the synchronized act.  It's not something we do a lot, anyway.

I lost my virginity when I was 15. And a half. :)

2. TEMPERANCE - Learn how to control sexual desires rather than fulfilling them. I know many of you are wanking double time in honor of May Masturbation Month, what’s the longest you’ve gone without masturbating? Was it self-induced or did someone command you not to masturbate? Did you find it frustrating or liberating?
Since I've started masturbating (around age 11 I think) the longest I've gone was probably 3 months or so. It was early in my second pregnancy. I was being overly cautious and avoiding all sexual activity due to a previous scare. It was neither frustrating or liberating - just necessary for my well-being.

3. CHARITY - A willingness to give, freely and without request for commendation. Have you ever had sex relations with someone just because you felt badly to turn them down or you felt sorry for them?
I've certainly done some things based on "eh, why the hell not?" I even had a brief relationship based on that attitude. But never because of pity.

4. DILIGENCE - A zealous attitude and careful nature toward living and sharing. Are you a diligent lover? Do you offer more than 10 minutes in the missionary (i.e., lazy lover)? What do you do that makes you a diligent lover?
I would LOVE to offer more than 10 minutes. I would love to receive it too, but can we be honest here? After sufficient foreplay with everyone involved already aroused - 10 minutes seems like a long time to me. Then again I suppose that depends on your style. I just happen to like it hard, rough, and fast. And BTW, there's nothing wrong with missionary.
I would do anything it required to please my partner, but I'm rarely tested. He's very easy to please.

5. PATIENCE - Seeking appropriate resolution to conflicts, and on the ability to forgive and show mercy. Your lover never seems to be in the mood for any kind of sexual activity. How patient are you? Do you:
a. Gingerly and sweetly try to talk to them about it and coax them into being in the mood.
b. Force yourself on them by making them feeling guilty about “denying” you so you get pity sex.
c. Do you go off and masturbate to satisfy your urges?
d. Hang your head low and hope tomorrow will be the day he/she is in the mood for nookie.

I can count on 2 fingers the number of times I've been turned down. Once was a very long time ago and I was in the mood, and began initiating. Clothes hadn't even come off yet, but we were making out pretty heavily. It was just getting good. Then he made some excuse, aplogized and wandered off. I was left stunned, alone on the bed wondering what had just happened. Gotta say - it stung. The other time was more recently (in the past year) and his stomach was bothering him. Perfectly understandable. No big deal. I can't say that I've dealt with him "never seeming to be in the mood". If I'm up for it, he's up for it. I would never do B. I don't want to be a part of anything pity related. I already do C as it is. D is not my style at all. I suppose A is my best bet. I can be pretty convincing! ;)

6. KINDNESS - Manifests as the unprejudiced, compassionate and charitable concern for others.
You are an enlightened sexual being full of sex positivity, confidence, and you love sex! Your motto is to “practice random acts of sexual kindness.” I’m curious what would your most prolific act of sexual kindness be? Why?

I can't say that I would give away just one thing. I'd like to tailor my offerings to the receiver. I know there's a lot of deserving men who are lacking what they desire most. I'd love to be able to fulfill their needs if I was in a position to do so. So you tell me. What's it gonna be?

7. HUMILITY - modest behavior, selflessness and the giving of respect. When are you prone to modesty? In what ways do you look out for the interest of others doing things not from selfishness?
I'm prone to physical modesty. Not prudish - just modest. Of all the lessons in childhood that I learned, a sense of social propriety was the one that stuck the most. I have a hard time letting that one go. I'd say that offering advice is a way that I look out for others. If I have relevant or helpful information then I like to share, because it's always welcome when I need it, too. I love the "pay it forward" concept.

Bonus: Your lover has made you mad but he/she is clueless and is making sexual advances. You:
a. Stay miffed or irritated at your lover and refuse to have sex
b. Rebuke your lover’s advances and tell him/her “not now because I am upset with you”
c. Set the anger aside and have great make up sex
d. Have selfish sex and do only what you want and take what you need with no regard for reciprocal satisfaction
A or B.  If I'm mad, the impossibility of sex is made well known. C is out. I can't recall ever having make up sex. There's "okay we're not mad anymore, back to the previous program" sex. Now that I say that it sounds kind of.......pitiful. LOL And D would never happen. Anger is a passion that overrides lust. Not to mention that D nullifies the GGG relationship that we've built.

And in other news.......we finally discovered why our new furry family member was so stinky. It was her mouth. She was teething and that causes some type of temporary gum infection. It's now gone, thank goodness. She's a lively addition to the house. She's learning her no-nos and plays fetch better than our dog. She brings her catnip mouse over and drops it in my lap and the game begins. She'll play for an hour. It's so entertaining to have a cat around again.
And, after enjoying ourselves immensely in DC we were more than proud to see our son on stage as a finalist in his BPA category. He didn't place in ther top three, but 5th place out of 48 on a national level is something to be very proud of. He did very well. I'm so happy we were there to help him celebrate his accomplishment. What was really fun to witness was how well he took charge of the group when we toured DC Friday night. His comfort level with finding his way around a new place with new situations was rewarding. Just another sign that he's getting closer to letting go.

From the mouths of babes.....

A very Happy Mother's Day to every women whos has filled any important role in anyone's life. Our mothers - because we're all here because of them. Our grandmothers - who at times are better than moms because we get all the love (if not more) of a mother minus the pressure to behave or be responsible. Grannies love us no matter what. Our daughters - in whom we place our hearts the day they are born and also the hopes and prayers that they'll be even better than us some day. Our sisters - who we grew, played, fought, and made up with. Somewhere along the way to adulthood they turned into people we really liked. (or did we turn into people that they really liked finally?) And all of the roommates, neighbors, coworkers, and best friends that have been there for us. It matters not if it was to share a laugh, a trouble, a heartache, a grievance, or a joy. When a person is there to support you - that's what matters most.

WHY GOD MADE MOMS
Answers given by 2nd grade school children to the following questions:

 Why did God make mothers?
 1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
 2. Mostly to clean the house.
 3. To help us out of there when we were getting born.

How did God make mothers?
 1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
 2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
 3. God made my mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.

What ingredients are mothers made of?
 1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.
 2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think.

Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?
 1. We're related..
 2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's mom like me.

What kind of a little girl was your mom?
 1. My mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff.
 2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.
 3. They say she used to be nice.

What did mom need to know about dad before she married him?
 1. His last name.
 2. She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer?
 3. Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores?

Why did your mom marry your dad?
 1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my mom eats a lot.
 2. She got too old to do anything else with him.
 3. My grandma says that mom didn't have her thinking cap on.

Who's the boss at your house?
 1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball.
 2. Mom.. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.
 3. I guess mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad.

What's the difference between moms and dads?
 1. Moms work at work and work at home and dads just go to work at work.
 2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.
 3. Dads are taller and stronger, but moms have all the real power cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friends..
 4. Moms have magic, they make you feel better without medicine.

What does your mom do in her spare time?
 1. Mothers don't do spare time.
 2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.

What would it take to make your mom perfect?
 1. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery.
 2. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue.

If you could change one thing about your mom, what would it be?
 1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.
 2. I'd make my mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it not me.
 3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head.

Friday Facts 5/6/11

Happy Friday everybody! We made it to DC yesterday afternoon and I have to tell you it's so nice not to have to travel for a few days. *whew* We're sight seeing today and meeting up with the boy who is the whole reason we're here. He got to fly out with his BPA group and is staying in the Omni. He competed Wednesday morning and we find out results tomorrow at the awards banquet. While we are not staying in the Omni, our place is nice, roomy, clean and has a big bed and a sizeable shower. Both have been thoroughly tried out and tested, I assure you. ;)

Now I offer up Volume 4 of Friday Facts. I would love it if you play along too!

Did you know.......
  • I sometimes snort when I laugh? Can't be helped. I laugh a lot. The snorting might be obnoxious or stupid to others. I choose to believe it's adorable.
  • I got my first marriage proposal in 4th grade? From a boy named Warren. He asked me in front of the entire class. I was so embarrassed. If looks could kill he would've died that day.
  • that I have 5 piercings on my body? I'll let you guess where they are.
  • I birthed both of my kiddos without a drop of painkiller? Not intentionally - they both just came really fast. Impatient. Like their mama.
  • I've had 5 sex partners, total? A few more if you count oral and hands only.
  • that my favorite food is chicken? I could fix it every day and never tire of it.
  • I'm a really good cook? I love to do it and get great satisfaction by serving a delicious meal.
  • that I absolutely get lost listening to classical music? My favorites lately have been Beetoven and Vivaldi.
  • I found out in 5th grade the truth about  Santa Claus? I didn't mind. I liked knowing the secret. I was mored devestated when my son found out. He never said a word, but I know the exact moment it happened.
  • that I had a country music phase? From 1990-1994. It's about all I listened to. I've since moved on but I dabble occasionally.
  • my favorite fragrance is lavender? Especially combined with vanilla, chamomile, or lemon. Or plain. The scent is everywhere in my home. I have room spray, oil warmers, linen and pillow mist, body lotion and perfume.
  • that my favorite thirst quencher is a tie between lemonade or iced tea? Putting the two together would seem logical. No. Ewww. That's just gross. No mixing, thank you. I don't even like a slice of lemon near my iced tea.
  • I'm having a really good hair day today? It's silly how much that can affect my mood, but I have an extra spring in my step just because of it. :D
  • that petroleum based lip balm makes a suitable lube for an impromptu handjob while driving? You have to mash it up in your hand first. And while I'm thinking of it - Marcus, I apologize for admonishing you about proper "10 and 2" hand placement a few weeks ago. "10 and cock in the seat next to you" is no better. *blush*
That's all I have time for before we leave, but as always, whatever you're having - have a good one!

HNT 5/5/11 Peek

I was on the road again last evening after a day of playing tourist with Od and as we began our long drive, (google maps and I need to have a sit down about time estimations) I got bored and started fiddling with the car features. (still learning the new vehicle) So there I was checking out the sun visor mirror and had a great idea. I wanted to play with the limited view and the evening sun. I tried to capture my new hair color, but was having shit luck. Couldn't get the right angle. However, I could manage a gratuitous down the cleavage shot pretty well, so here ya go :

And not really half-nekkid - but because I liked the view - Od makes his HNT debut :

So there you have it. Just a little bit of road fun.
For those who requested it - I did attempt a few ass shots but it was a no go. iPhone cameras and harsh hotel lighting are NOT a girl's best friend.
I'll get to it. Promise.
I'm off to have something with tequila in it.
*smooch*

TMI Tuesday 5/3/11

I've been riding in the car all day reading blogs, listening to podcasts, and being a co-pilot extraordinaire. FINALLY - 3 hours past ETA we are in North Carolina. Google Maps is a big fat liar. I'm exhausted, Od is more than exhausted (I hope he can hang in there long enough to "snuggle"), but I still want to play along with TMI this week because I've loved reading all your answers. And of course, I have my 2 cents to toss in. When don't I? :)

This week's TMI credit goes to Hedone and Heels n Stockings.

TMI Tuesday: Seven Deadly Sins
1. LUST (excessive sexual appetites): Besides your current significant other, for whom do you lust or who have you lusted for in the past? Does your significant other know about your lustful desires?
My celebrity crush is Robert Pattinson. Od knows. I've seen the Twilight films, but he never caught my eye until well after the first movie was released. I saw a magazine cover and realized he has blue eyes IRL. And is English. And adorably unassuming. And musical. And, and , and...........can look like this :

......and like this :

.....and like this :
.....and just one more :

This look is the reason Sham-Wow panties should be invented!

 2. GLUTTONY (over-indulgence): What food brings out your inner glutton?
Cheesy popcorn. There's no such thing as a serving. There's a full bag and an empty bag. Oh and fresh gooey chocolate chip cookies. Mmmmmmmm

3. GREED (avarice): When it comes to sex, what are you greedy for? When it comes to things, what is it that you want more than your need or deserve?
I suppose it could be said that I'm greedy to have things my way. I'm more particular than my husband. But that's not to say that I'm not giving, and that he doesn't get opportunities for things to be all about him. Right now I'm greedy for a nice rough long fuck that leaves me thoroughly satisfied. And a fun spanking.

Things. I love things. But I try not to collect stuff for the sake of having. If I don't use it, then it's gotta go. But art supplies? If  I like a certain supply I HAVE to have it in every available color. Ya know....just in case. :)

4. SLOTH (idleness/procrastination): Name a task or activity in which you perpetually procrastinate?
Almost everything. When prepping for a class I'm more creative under pressure. I wake up at the latest possible time. Then hit snooze a few times. I put off laundry way too long. I coast into gas stations on fumes before I refill the tank. (bad I know. shhh. don't tell Od. he's a car freak and hates when I do that!) But I always, Always, ALWAYS do my best to be on time. Being late is rude and inconsiderate.

5. WRATH (anger) is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury.
a. Describe a time that you were very angry?
b. Have you ever been so angry that you thought about revenge? Did you seek it?
I was very angry April 8th, 2006. I've never been so close to punching someone in my entire life. I could've taken him, too. Cops were called. Restraining orders filed. (against him, not me) Father/son relationship severed. It was a bad day. We officially earned our White Trash badge. (it came complimentary with the restraining order)

So angry I thought about revenge? Sure. Acted on it? No. It's a form of hate and ultimately self-damaging.

6. ENVY (jealousy): Who or what do you envy? Why?
I envy anyone with beautiful flawless skin that holds a tan and never breaks out.

7. PRIDE (vanity) is the love of one's own excellence, and it is considered the worst of the 7 Deadly Sins.

a. When preparing to meet a lover, what are you most vain about?
Having a fresh pedicure, a good hair day, and sexy lingerie on underneath.
b. What sexual skill are you overly proud and boastful about?
Head. I've always received compliments - even back as a beginner. I'm much much better now. Lots of practice this past year and a half. Oh - and for some reason my hip action. I had a boyfriend who was mesmerized whenever we made out. He liked me on his lap. With his hands full of my ass as I ground on him. He would pull away from our kiss just to watch. It spurred me on!
c. What part of your body are you proud of, boastful about?
Collarbone and shoulders, small of the back. They feel sexy no matter what. And my ass was always a trademark in school. I don't know about now. Od loves it, but after a long winter of sitting on it while blogging it could use a few more trips to the Y! Also I was once told I had a pretty mouth. (not by a guy)

Bonus:  What sin do you think is your greatest virtue? For example, what bad thing makes you more appealing?
Absolutely my lust for others keeps my marriage fun. I get worked up and my man reaps the benefits. And my dirty mind makes me a more adventurous lover. I can't wait to see what else this year brings me!
